• Genneia will provide Loma Negra renewable energy

With all the teams and moved from Puerto Madryn and work in full development, the expansion of the 24 MW Wind Farm Rawson (PER), the most important of Argentina today, is actually from December. From 1st of January 2018 until 31 December 2037, Genneia will sell the leading cement company in Argentina renewable energy.
The agreement between Genneia and Loma Negra was signed on September 2, 2016 and was subject to the regulations of law 27,191 for selling renewable energy to large users, recently put into effect with the publication of Resolution 281 of the Ministry of Energy and mining of the Nation. This regulation will also enable the company to realize new business energy sales between private through a portfolio own projects ready to build for additional 500 MW.
With this agreement, the system will Genneia 60 percent of the generation capacity available on this extension of the PER.
This arrangement becomes another milestone in a fruitful than 2017 Genneia. With the projects awarded in RENEW 1 and 1.5 bids up (Villalonga, Chubut North and Pomona) and the construction of the Wind Farm Madryn, five works that will total the medium term, some 600 MW of wind generation, the company also it is available to actively participate in the next round of bidding rENEW 2.
Also during this year, Genneia acquired Generadora Electric Tucuman (GETSA) and expanded in 120 MW Thermal Power Plant Bragado, events that enabled him to complete his assets thermal generation plants with 10 640 MW of installed capacity.
