North wind projects Chubut III and IV received a long-term loan for $ 131.5 million for its construction and commissioning . The loan was granted by the German bank KfW and guaranteed by the export credit agency Euler Hermes through a commercial and political agreement for export. The deadline for completion is 15 years.
Chubut parks Norte III and IV - currently under construction and awarded in Round II of the RENEW program - are located very close to the city of Puerto Madryn, in the province of Chubut. Once enabled work with 31 turbines delivering power to more than 197,000 homes and 453,000 tn reducing the emission of carbon dioxide to the environment. They will be connected to the Argentine Interconnection System (SADI) from the second quarter of 2020.
