  • We built the first large-scale wind farm in Argentina: the Rawson Wind Farm.
  • Our Madryn Wind Farm, located in the province of Chubut, is the largest in the country.
  • We were the first renewable energy company to enter into a long-term supply contract between private parties.
  • Also the first company to market Emission Reduction Certificates.

Our culture

Supply reliable and sustainable electrical energy to large customers through the development, construction and operation of systems with high energy efficiency and reduced environmental impact.

Achieve leadership in Argentine electricity generation based on a balanced energy mix through the massive incorporation of sustainable energies.

WHAT WE ARE

Values

Our history

Where each goal became a milestone.

  • After 5 years of activity related to gas and thermal energy, our story begins in the development of renewable generation projects. The first two stages of the Rawson Wind Farm come into operation, the first large-scale renewable center to supply energy to the Argentine Interconnection System (SADI).
  • We managed to exceed 1,000 GWh of energy generated in the same year.
  • We expanded our capacity by more than 439 MW with the extensions of the Bragado Thermal Power Plant and the inauguration of the Rawson III Wind Farm, the first renewable center to emerge within the framework of Sale to Private or Large Users. We also included in our portfolio the Cruz Alta Thermal Power Plant (former GETSA SA) and the Trelew Wind Farm (former Loma Blanca IV).
  • The Madryn I and Chubut Norte I Wind Farms begin to operate. We inaugurated Villalonga, Genneia's first wind farm in Buenos Aires, and Ullum, our first solar farm.
  • It finds us as the main investor in renewable energy in Argentina and number one in installed capacity in wind energy. We inaugurated the second stage of the Madryn Wind Farm: with its 220MW of installed power, it has been, since then, the largest wind farm in Argentina.
We inaugurated the CECO, our operational control center from where we monitor all our generation assets remotely, under a 24x7 scheme.
  • The Vientos de Necochea Wind Farm comes into operation. In the context of the ASPO, we maintained our commitment to supply energy in compliance with the recommendations and requirements of the National Government and the National Ministry of Health to contain the spread of COVID-19. We continue with the construction of the Chubut Norte II, III and IV wind projects.
  • The Chubut Norte II, III and IV Wind Farms come into operation, thus concluding the Expansion Plan started in 2017.
  • We met the ready-to-build milestone of the Sierras de Ullum project (78 MW), which will be the company's second solar park located in San Juan.
  • We issued the first Argentine corporate green bond in the international market for US$366 million.
  • We issued 4 local green bonds for more than US$130 million.
  • Construction work begins on the Sierras de Ullum solar project (78 MW), which will be operational by the end of 2022.
  • We publish our Second Sustainability Report, an expression of our commitment to transparent management and to the expectations of our stakeholders.
  • We announce the award of two new renewable generation projects: the Tocota III Solar Park (60 MW), located in San Juan; and the La Elbita Wind Farm (103.5 MW), located in Tandil, Buenos Aires.
