Los Molles Solar Project was originated to satisfy the energy demand of large industrial users, within the framework of the Renewable Energy Term Market. Its development will require an investment of more than 90 million dollars and, at its peak, it will employ 280 people.

The solar farm is located on a 312-hectare piece of land, at 4 km north of the town of Malargüe, province of Mendoza. The site has the evacuation capacity of the electrical network and horizontal global irradiation of considerable value, both conditions for the construction of a project of this type. Its commercial operation date is projected for the end of 2024.

Los Molles photovoltaic panels will be bifacial technology that take direct energy from the sun and also absorb the reflection of the ground, allowing energy generation to be increased by up to 10%.
