The farm comes out from two constructive projects. Arising from RenovAr 1.5, Pomona I (101.4MW) entered into operation in July 2019. For its construction, Genneia obtained a financing of US$ 142 million, under Project Finance modality, granted by German development banks KFW and DEG and guarantee Euler Hermes.

Moreover, Pomona II (11.7MW) was originated within a Sale to Private or Great Users agreement framework signed between Genneia and AMCOR, ARLEI and MERANOL companies.

With a certified saving of 200,000 t of C02 emissions per year, as from 2020 our Pomona Wind Farm is authorized by the organization Verified Carbon Standard to issue Reduction Emissions Certificates.
