The farm comes out from two constructive projects. Villalonga I (52MW) came out from RenovAr 1.0, and entered into operation in December 2018. For its construction, Genneia obtained a financing of US$ 81 million, under Project Finance modality, granted by Corporación Andina de Fomento, the agency of credit EKF (Denmark), and the banks FMO (Holland) and Sumitomo Mitsui (Japan).

Moreover, Villalonga II (3.2MW) was originated within a Sale to Private or Great Users agreement framework. Some customers are: Bimbo, Mc Cain and Meranol.

With a certified saving of 114,000 t of C02 emissions per year, as from 2020 our Villalonga Wind Farm is authorized by the organization Verified Carbon Standard to issue Reduction Emissions Certificates.
