The Sierras de Ullum Solar Farm was originated to meet the energy demand of great industrial consumers, within the framework of Renewable Energy Forward Market. Its development required an investment of more than 60 million dollars by the company.
Located on a 159-hectare site, the project construction began in February 2022, and lasted 12 months, employing more than 400 people directly during this process. The park has been operational since March 2023, becoming our second solar farm.
The Sierras de Ullum Solar Farm is located in the south center of the province of San Juan, close to the Ullum Solar Farm (82 MW), our first photovoltaic center.
Sierras de Ullum generates 6% more energy than solar farms with monofacial photovoltaic panels.
This performance is possible thanks to its state-of-the-art bifacial photovoltaic panels, which take direct energy from the sun and also absorb reflections from the ground.
