Madryn Wind Farm came out from two constructive projects: Madryn I (71MW) and Madryn II (151 MW), both born within the framework of Resolution 202/16 of the Ministry of Energy and Mining. The company completed its construction in a record time, complying with high international standards.

The development of the project required an investment of 320 million dollars and generated, at its rush moment, more than 300 employment positions. As from the starting point in operation of the second constructive stage, September 2019, Madryn has been the biggest wind farm in Argentina.

EXCELLENCE INDICATOR

The load factor of Madryn Wind Farm is among the highest in the world, in both stages of the centre:

  • Madryn I: 51.7%
  • Madryn II: 50.2%

KNOW MORE

The load factor is the relation between the energy effectively generated by a farm along a period of time and the maximum it would be possible to produce, in ideal conditions, along the same period of time. It is about not only the quality of wind but also the good performance and availability of the technology in the farm thanks to the best practices of operation and maintenance.
