Last week 7 of the 11 turbines were tested an soon will operate in the second Genneia wind farm in the province of Buenos Aires

Genneia's Vientos de Necochea Wind Farm is taking decisive steps towards the beginning of its operation as a center for renewable generation. Two key milestones in this process last weekend lived: the energization of the circuit 1 and the subsequent commissioning of 7 of the 11 wind turbines already installed at the site.
Energization involves connecting the center to the grid generation and the consequent arrival of their circuits and voltage installations. Only it takes place after receiving the corresponding authorizations TRANSBA and CAMMESA. At Vientos de Necochea, this step was completed on Saturday 18 January, and immediately were put on performances five wind turbines to begin commissioning tests. At the next day, 2 units joined more testing.
The commissioning tests consist of review, verification, testing and electrical testing of each turbine. Its purpose is to verify that all systems were properly installed and tested, as required by the design bases and manufacturers' manuals. This process will continue in the coming days to achieve the appropriate commercial operation of the park.
The Vientos de Necochea Wind Farm has 11 turbines, and will be able to generate 158,000 MWh annually, equivalent to produce clean energy for more than 52,000 households, avoiding the emission of 79,000 tons of CO2.
