The operative plant's team installed four solar panels and a recycling machine

In 2019, Genneia's Bragado Thermal Power Plant starred in the implementation of two initiatives that contribute to sustainable care of the environment in that dear community. This is the installation of four panels solar generation and a recycling machine disposables. Both projects were developed entirely by the team of the operating center with the collaboration of young people who participated in professionalizing practices between August and November of that year.
In total four solar panels, three of which were in disuse and were recovered especially installed for operation. Not only that: the holder was constructed with materials collected scrap. Today the panels generate a total of 530W, clean energy that can illuminate offices, dining room and bathrooms central for 9h a day (from 8 to 17 hours).
On the other hand, the machine can process different recycling waste central (plastic, paper, cardboard) and convert them into reusable material for making bricks by the Municipality of Bragado. It is estimated that in one year 12,700 kilograms of discarded materials are recycled.
