Necochea, September 28, 2021. At an event held with the principals of the Technical High School No. 1 Ing. Mario A. Elpuerto, Genneia –the leading renewable energy generation company in Argentina– donated state-of-the-art technology equipment.
As explained by Mariana Arrechea –principal of the institution– “the didactic wind power panel– will enable the school to provide the students with classroom and hands-on training, including the fundamental concepts and experimentation on using renewable energies to generate electricity from wind sources, by simulating in the classroom the operation of the large wind turbines.” She also expressed her satisfaction because at the same time that training is provided in the use of clean energies through sustainable development and environmental protection, “the company’s contribution has a direct impact on the quality of the vocational training provided to the students for future employability.”
“At Genneia we are proud because students will be able to gain hands-on experience in all steps of a wind power installation, considering the regulations in force, in a safe environment for teachers and students. With actions like this one, we seek to address the challenges of the current context in terms of education, thus taking on an active role and creating value for the community,” said Gustavo Castagnino, director of Corporate Affairs and Sustainability at Genneia.
As a result of the contribution made by the company, the educational institution will be able to maximize students’ knowledge through tangible educational and valuable experience, driving training in the process of generating clean energy. “By making this type of contribution, we do our bit to achieve quality education, thus bringing the training received by students closer to the needs, realities and technologies of the current productive world, in particular, in relation to renewable energies with a huge growth potential in our country,” said Carolina Langan, head of Sustainability at Genneia.
