We shared dialogue sessions with community members where we operate. Purpose? Let us know more each other and make links in favour of sustainability.

In September 2020, Genneia opened a new meeting channel with communities: dialogue sessions among company mentors and community members where we operate. 5 zoom meetings were done, in which we could know each other more and exchanged opinions and expectations to grow in our best field of knowledge: generation of sustainable energy.
The first appointed community was Villalonga, which brings name to our first wind farm in the province of Buenos Aires. Later, Pomona (Río Negro), Ullum (San Juan), Bragado (Buenos Aires) and Puerto Madryn (Chubut). At each meeting, directors and helpers from different areas of Genneia talked with the participants, side by side, which allowed us to identify relevant aspects and expectations for the communities. It was also presented in detail to the operative centres referred to, the technology and operation, and the triple impact management we developed at each of the centres.
“We are pleased to open the doors of our company and make them be part of our activity, and, at same time, make the community feel and recognize Genneia as one more actor of the community. To generate this space of listening and dialogue is, with no doubt, very auspicious for everybody”, Carolina Langan, Chief of Sustainability and Social Matters, explained.
A participant from the dialogue session in Bragado, Marcelo Mendez (from Bragado TV), said: “I was surprised by the work done to recover some waste, the environment commitment of the company and the appropriate professionals for the matter. It could be an aspect of help for citizens so as we also take action”. From Puerto Madryn, Alejandra Scigliano (Director of uniRSE and organizer of Patagonia Eco Film Fest) commented as well: “I celebrate initiatives like these ones, to want you have to know, and this opening is not so frequent. Transparency is the base of sustainability”.
