The San Rafael Solar Project arises to meet the energy demand of large industrial users, within the framework of the Renewable Energy Market. Located 81 km west of the city of the same name, it is the third photovoltaic development that Genneia undertakes in the province of Mendoza.

The park is located on a 500-hectare plot of land along National Route 150, in the 25 de Mayo district. Its construction will require an investment of over US$ 180 million and, at its construction peak, will employ more than 250 people. Its operational launch is scheduled for the second quarter of 2026.

San Rafael Solar Power Project photovoltaic panels will be of bifacial technology, which captures direct sunlight as well as the reflection from the ground, allowing energy generation to increase by up to 10%.
